BilimClass Summarizes the Academic Year: What Teachers and Parents Had to Say
Schools in 13 regions of Kazakhstan have transitioned to the free digital gradebook BilimClass, while schools in Astana are currently testing the platform as part of a pilot program. Today, BilimClass is one of the country's largest educational platforms, serving 2.5 million students and 350,000 educators.
At the end of the 2025–2026 academic year, the BilimClass team conducted a survey among parents and teachers in Astana, Almaty, Pavlodar Region, and West Kazakhstan Region. The results showed that users highly value the platform for its data security, the convenience of working within a unified digital environment, and its ad-free experience.
Reducing Teachers’ Administrative Workload
One of BilimClass’s key goals is to simplify teachers’ day-to-day work by automating routine administrative tasks. In addition to a user-friendly digital gradebook, the platform provides educators with educational content, advanced analytics, and practical teaching tools.
According to the survey, 76% of teachers in Astana and 79% of teachers in West Kazakhstan Region reported that the quality of their work has significantly improved since adopting BilimClass. In written feedback, educators highlighted that the platform has made it easier to prepare reports, manage schedules, and analyze students’ performance in formative and summative assessments.

A Kazakhstani Solution with Strong Data Protection
Survey participants also identified BilimClass’s local development and robust data security as some of its key advantages. The platform was created by Kazakhstani IT specialists specifically for the needs of Kazakhstan’s education system.
All BilimClass servers are located within Kazakhstan, and the platform’s information security and high standards of personal data protection are certified by the State Technical Service of Kazakhstan.
Among respondents in Pavlodar Region, 63% of parents and 50% of teachers gave BilimClass the highest rating for being a locally developed solution. Similar views were expressed in Almaty, where 62% of parents and 52% of teachers cited its domestic development as a major advantage.
A Unified Digital Environment for Education
Managing the educational process requires a wide range of resources. In the past, schools often had to rely on multiple disconnected systems, which frequently led to data inconsistencies, administrative inefficiencies, and additional workload for educators. According to survey respondents, one of BilimClass’s greatest strengths is that it brings all participants in the educational process together within a single platform.
Schools and teachers have access to all the tools they need in one place, while parents can easily monitor their children’s academic progress. For example, 67% of surveyed parents in Pavlodar Region said that BilimClass helps them more effectively track grades, homework assignments, and overall student performance.

An Ad-Free Platform with No Forced Paid Services
Across all surveyed regions, users highly value the absence of advertisements and unsolicited paid services on the platform. According to respondents, this allows them to focus on learning and use the platform without unnecessary distractions or limitations.
In Astana, 98% of teachers and 87% of parents gave BilimClass the highest possible rating for being free of advertising and intrusive paid features. In Almaty, the platform received top marks from 81% of teachers and 76% of parents for the same reasons.

BilimClass is completely free for all participants in the educational process. In addition, users gain access to a range of educational resources, including BilimLand, the largest digital educational content library in the CIS region; iTest, an online platform for preparing for Kazakhstan’s Unified National Test; and iMektep, a collection of video lessons designed for primary school students.
